Knitted fabric sourcing
From Kahramanmaraş, Tutku Fabric brings brands together with the right construction, the right hand and the right production partner through its knitted fabric sourcing. We work across a wide collection, from single jersey, two- and three-thread fleece, rib, cashcorse, interlock and the piqué family to technical double-bed structures.
The process always starts with a sample. We work with you on the target weight, width and composition, arrange a trial knit with our production partner where needed, and lock the fabric to the recipe you approve. The approved sample is recorded as the reference for bulk production.
Quality control is not a single check made after production ends. Weight, width, hand and visual defect checks are carried out on the greige knit, after dyeing and before dispatch, and independent laboratories are used for the physical tests you require. Lot-based records keep it traceable which production the arriving fabric came from.
Working in both Turkish and English, we serve brands at home and abroad through a single point of contact. If you are not sure which knitted fabric suits your collection, just tell us the end use and we will assess the alternatives together.
FAQ
Tutku Fabric is a knitted fabric sourcing and marketing partner based in Kahramanmaraş. Rather than knitting in our own plant, we plan the lines of production partners we have worked with for years around the needs of your collection. We run the whole sourcing process, from sample development to quality control and shipment, through a single point of contact.
Alongside core structures such as single jersey, two- and three-thread fleece, rib, cashcorse and interlock, we work with piqué variants, waffle, ottoman, selanik, punto milano, punto di roma and double face double-bed constructions. For every fabric in the catalogue we share the typical weight, width and composition ranges. If the structure you need is not listed, we propose alternatives built on similar constructions.
Simply send us the fabric name, your target weight and the intended end use through the quote form or by e-mail. We send the suitable swatch cards we hold and, where needed, start a bespoke sample study together with our production partner. Once the sample is approved, the same recipe is recorded as the reference for bulk production.
There is no single fixed minimum; it depends on the fabric construction, the number of colours and the dyehouse batch size. Once we receive your enquiry we check with the relevant production partner and clearly share the range that applies to your project. For small collection trials we prefer to look for a solution through stock colours.
