Single Piqué Knitted Fabric
Tuck stitches create a one-directional relief; breathable, textured piqué. The layout of tuck and knit rows leaves small openings on the surface, supporting air circulation and giving a matt look that reads differently from plain jersey.
Properties
Light yet covering, it answers the expectation of a dry hand when the wearer warms up. Beyond classic polo shirts it is widely used in corporate and promotional ranges; cotton versions look natural, while polyester blends improve dimensional stability.
Single piqué is sourced by Tutku Fabric through its production partners, and every quality is handed over with a technical data sheet. The sheet lists yarn count, cell repeat, the finishes applied and the care instruction, so the pattern room and the corporate buyer work from the same information. That record is the most practical way to hold a quality on the same line in repeat orders.

Working with Tutku Fabric
Sourcing and sampling process
Tutku Fabric does not knit; it is a sourcing and marketing partner working with mills experienced in this construction. When your enquiry arrives we settle the target weight, width, composition and end use, send suitable options from existing swatch cards and, where needed, plan a trial knit with the mill.
Weight, width and after-wash measurements are recorded on the sample; the approved sample becomes the written reference for bulk. Checkpoints on the greige knit, after dyeing and before dispatch are followed, and requested physical tests are run by an independent laboratory. Minimums and lead time are set with the mill according to colour count and dyehouse schedule, then confirmed to you in writing.
